Canadian International AutoShow (February)

The Canadian International AutoShow is Canada’s largest auto show. It takes place annually in February at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and attracts around 300,000 visitors on average. You can see over 1,000 cars, trucks, and SUV’s, including concept cars, exotics, classics, motorcycles and alternative energy vehicles.

Toronto Fashion Week (March, October)

Toronto Fashion Week (TFW) is a semi-annual fashion week held in Toronto, Ontario. The festival celebrates fashion, art and culture within Toronto’s most prestigious luxury retail and brand.

Pride Festival (June)

The annual Pride Toronto festival is an event that celebrates the diversity of and helps to unite and empower people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions. The festival has become a major Canadian arts and cultural event and the largest Pride celebration in North America.

Caribana (August)

The Toronto Caribbean Carnival, still commonly called Caribana, is a festival celebrating the Caribbean culture and traditions.

Canadian National Exhibition (August)

The Canadian National Exhibition, commonly called CNE or the EX, is an annual event that takes place at the Exhibition Place in Toronto. There are 18 days of performances, amusement park rides, food from around the world, shopping, games and more!

Taste of the Danforth (August)

Taste of the Danforth is a yearly festival held in Toronto along Danforth Avenue. It is Canada’s largest street festival with approximately 1.65 million attendees each year. Although it celebrates Torontonians with Greek heritage, it is also a celebration of Canada’s multiculturalism. Along with numerous delicious food options, visitors also come for the live entertainment.

Toronto International Film Festival (September)

The Toronto International Film Festival is one of the largest publicly attended film festivals in the world. Buy your tickets early and get a chance to watch some amazing movies and catch a glimpse of some stars!

Santa Claus Parade (November)

Toronto’s Santa Claus parade is held annually on the third Sunday of November. Come by to watch the  gigantic floats, marching band and, of course, Santa Claus!

Cavalcade of Lights (November)

is an annual holiday tradition featuring the lighting of Toronto’s official Christmas Tree, live musical performances, a spectacular fireworks show and skating parties on the iconic outdoor rink. The event falls on the last weekend of November to start off the holiday season.
